Crankin' Away

So, yes.  I've been making beads! Not a lot at one time, but a handful.  That's good, right?  I hope so.

I've also been staying up until close to 1 in the morning because I can't turn my brain off.  I have a little over a month to prepare for a boutique I'm participating in and I just can't get a handle on it.  I have too many ideas, too many wants, too many wishes.  If you were me and trying to make jewelry to sell, what would you make?  What colors?  I really wanna know what people are just DYING for this year and only so much internet research will help.  I wanna know what YOU want.  I wanna know what YOU are making.   I wanna know what YOU would snatch up and say "YES!  This is IT!  EXACTLY what I want!  You're AWESOME, Haley!"

Okay, okay.  You don't have to say the last part.  You can if you want, though!

Come on people!  Help a girl out.  :)  Tell ya what.  If you've read this far.....I'll make it worth your while.  Leave a comment to get entered into a drawing (you have until Saturday at 9pm Mountain Standard Time) to win a cute pair of earrings!  You'll have a choice - cute pumpkins for fall or peppermint candies for Christmas! (They'd make fun, unique gifts!)

So, leave a comment answering "what should Haley make?" and please make sure you're specific (colors, styles, etc.)  Remember, I make glass beads, not miracles. HA!  If you have NO CLUE?  Leave a comment anyway.  I won't be making "judgements" on who left the best, most creative comment.  I'll just put your name into a hat!  How's that sound? You could just say "Hi! 123456789!!" But, to be honest, I'd much prefer if you said SOMETHING rather than that.  I MIGHT just draw another name if you do that.  Just sayin'.  LOL

So, leave your comment!!  You have 'til Saturday night!  Be creative! Have fun!

"You're AWESOME, Haley!"

Tee heeeeeee......I actually LOVE those pumpkin earrings so much, can I get a few pairs?? I want to bless others with them too (like Jenni, my mom, my co-worker Holly).
I have been thinking in my spare time (so, you know what that means.....not giving it too much thought)....that I don't think women know what they want UNTIL they see it, and then it is like "EUREKA!!!" Where have those been my whole life??" At least, that is how it is for me.
I do think I want a little something BIG, BOLD, BLACK, SILVER????? I love the big bead on a rope necklace look. I LOVE your earrings (all). I know, I am NO help.
I also think a winter white bead, with silver??? I am no good at this.
Love you though!

A "comment" from my Aunt Ruth! "I like the pumpkin earrings! Are there earrings or a necklace to match....in the future?"
Thanks Aunt Ruth!

You do awesome work. I agree with the above, don't know what I want until I see it. If I had to pick something, I would say fall type colors, maybe green.

Beulah Bucklebottom, you are exceptionally talented! Although you have always had a much better fashion sense than I have, I remember a time when your creativity juices flowed in a stream of friendship bracelets and scrapbooking stamps. Now that creativity has matured to glass bead masterpieces! Your stream has become a flowing, colorful river of original glass bead beauty. I admire your drive to explore a new avenue and your determination to not only expand your creativity, but to develop such a fashionable business! You are truly an inspiration!

Now, as far as what I'd like to see....I love all the little accessories you've made like fan pulls, bookmarks, etc., especially for those of us less, shall I say, jewelry challenged? I also love holiday items of the sort - pumpkins, peppermints, fall colors, flowers, etc.

I look forward to your many new magnificent designs! Ca CAW!

With love and admiration,
Foreber your especial lady,
Jay
