My Faith

"So be truly glad. There is wonderful joy ahead, even though you have to endure many trials for a little while. These trials will show that your faith is genuine. It is being tested as fire tests and purifies gold—though your faith is far more precious than mere gold. So when your faith remains strong through many trials, it will bring you much praise and glory and honor on the day when Jesus Christ is revealed to the whole world. You love him even though you have never seen him. Though you do not see him now, you trust him; and you rejoice with a glorious, inexpressible joy." (1 Peter 1:6-8)

I am a non-denominational Christian, a believer in Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior - and as my ONLY salvation.  Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me." (John 14:6)  God is a loving and patient God, and, by golly, He saved me by grace, not by MY might.  I sure didn't deserve it!


I'm an active member in a local church, a co-leader of a small group and love to participate (and sometimes facilitate) women's Bible studies.  I'm a huge fan of Beth Moore, Cynthia Heald and lots of other Christian women authors and speakers.  I love Christian fiction, too. :)  


I pray that Jesus is alive in YOU and that you have a personal relationship with Him.  I live my life hoping to glorify Him in everything I say and do, knowing I'll fall short but in anticipation of Him picking me up, dusting me off and setting me right!
